Product Design Engineer

With the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max, we introduced the first 'Triple Camera' camera architecture, adding an Ultrawide camera module to the Tele and Wide cameras from iPhone X. I owned the re-design of the product's antenna architecture–to accomodate the new triple camera system–and led the development of a novel 'Ultra Wideband' antenna array–the first in any Apple product–which enabled precise 'Find My iPhone' and Airtag finding.

    led the development of Ultra Wideband (UWB) antenna technology and integration design
    led UWB-related feature development (i.e. precise Airtag finding) & roll-out of UWB to other product lines
    led antenna re-design to enable iPhone's first 'triple camera' architecture and OLED display
    led prototyping builds, process development in Shenzhen
